Weekend in Seattle

It was great to have Jason, Aimee and my parents join me for the weekend in Seattle. What I love about being close to the ocean is the wonderful seafood that it offers. We had a great meal at a local restaurant on the wharf.
We also went to the aquarium and walked down to the Olympic Sculpture park which over looks the bay. Pikes market as usual is very fun to visit. I loved the blanket of color from all the flowers in the market especially all the Peonies which were in full bloom.
The seafood at the market was a visual feast.
The weather was perfect all weekend and it was really great to spend time together. I then flew home and Aimee and Jason returned to Spokane to spend time with my family.
Will be posting student work this week before I leave for the Sisters Show on Sunday.
Have a great week.
Sue

  2. Oh, great tearing of hair and banging of fists on the floor. Are you KIDDING? You're going to be in Sisters? I'm missing Sisters, and I'm missing YOU ALSO? This is AWFUL. Well - okay. Just buy a flat of assorted berries and have them for breakfast every morning. And sit in the giant chair and take pictures. Sister's is the sweetest little town ever; love the place. Had a ball putting up the quilts one year. Say Hi to kathy Deggendorfer if you see her - and tell her I still have the little painting of the horse butt. Dang. Wish I were there.
