My Workshops and Lectures/Trunk Shows

My teaching schedule is currently full through 2011 and 2012.  I'll be delighted to discuss your workshop needs for 2013.

WORKSHOPS

I offer 2, 3, 4 and 5 day workshops. I do not conduct classes less than 2 days because I believe there is not enough time to transfer a significant amount of skill or to encourage participants to think creatively.

In the 2 day workshops the emphasis can either be on completing a small project while learning the essential skills needed for successful quilting or can be my Altered Textures class during which I teach layering, appliqué and embellishment techniques.

The longer the workshop the more my students are encouraged to find and express their own creativity.  The focus shifts to design, construction, color, texture, appliqué and embellishment.

TRUNK SHOWS/LECTURES

I do not offer trunk shows/lectures independently of my teaching sessions but am very happy to combine them with workshops.  My trunk shows/lectures are about 1 hour in length, they are visual and engaging and include time for me to respond to questions.
