I taught an embellishment class at a wonderful quilt store in my area called 'Olive Grace' owned by Kori Turner www.olivegracestudios.com My daughter Aimee goes to school in the area so I picked her up and she helped for the day setting up and selling the items in my little store.
I am delighted as Kori and Kathy are traveling to Orvieto in Italy www.adventuresinitaly.net month to take my class as well as experience the wonderful Italian culture. I will be returning to teach a class at Olive Grace next year.
Take care
Sue
Looks like a great time! My parents are both from Warren Ohio, and I still have relatives there. My Dad was in the Navy so we travelled all over the US. I am now in Va, and all of my siblings and Mom live in Fla. Next year I may drag my Mom from Fla and drive to take your class, and visit my Mom's family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time everyone had. Wish I lived close enough to attend.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful retreat. I was in our shop on the day they were doing one of your quilts for a class. They did a bit of machine quilting and hand work. I love the idea of using a machine, but you can't get the look that the heavier threads have.
