I have been to Alaska and now in Nebraska. I am hoping to get some time tomorrow to blog about my great Alaska trip but in the meantime I thought you amy like to see these wonderful student projects.

My folk-art imagery reflects my multi-cultural background and my fascination with folkart from around the world. Inspiration comes from memories collected during my African childhood with its animals and grasslands, a sojourn in the green South of England and time spent in Connecticut, Tennessee, Utah and Ohio.

ReplyDeleteWow! Everyone was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all :)
Sue admiro tanto tus hermosos diseños!!!! Te envio un cariñoso saludo desde Argentina!!!
ReplyDeleteI think these birds in the last few shots are my favorite bird shapes - they're so lyrical and they throw the flow along their backs. My hands want to make them. My schedule tells me - fat chance. I wish I could do these things from horseback, or while writing, or in the cracks while I'm waiting for Photoshop to save a PNG for me. Grrrr. LIfe is too short.
ReplyDeleteHello Sue,
ReplyDeleteHow very fortunate you are to have the opportunity to teach in Alaska, Such a beautiful pristine land. Your student did very well with their projects. I am awe of the 8Foot Delphiniums. Never seen any thing like them. I am luck mine grow 12 inches. LOL
Thanks for also sharing all those gorgeous scenic photos of Alaska. I was a bush nurse in the interior of Alaska and they brought back such wonderful memories. I left a wee part of my heart in Alaska.
I have admired your artistic work for a long time. Hugs Judy
