My folk-art imagery reflects my multi-cultural background and my fascination with folkart from around the world. Inspiration comes from memories collected during my African childhood with its animals and grasslands, a sojourn in the green South of England and time spent in Connecticut, Tennessee, Utah and Ohio.

Happy 4th of July - Wonderful Student Work

Happy 4th of July. It is amazing it is a cool day here in Ohio. I am packing for my trip to Sisters Oregon. I love teaching there and am very excited abut the featured guest speakers this year. Right up my ally!
I am teaching for 5 days so it has taken my two days to get organized and once again I am loaded. I have a very early flight in the morning and a couple of lay overs so I am planning lots of hand work.
I have met many of my student that have completed my patterns so I decided to post lots of their pictures.
Karmen Sunshine sent me these pictures of her Michelle Pillow. It is wonderful and I love the back. It is always fun to have a complete project. It will make you smile when you turn it over.

Wonderful items that other's have done.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to get the cd, but I am on a mac and never bothered to get the software to convert for windows. I do need to get a pc though, I need one for my sewing machine too, so one of these days I will get one and then I can get the software. Will you be making embroideries from your designs, for the machines?

Enjoy Sisters! I'm just driving over for the day, but I wish I could take your class! Even though I only live about 3 hours away, I haven't been able to get over for several years. I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteI love the Michelle pillow -- and the back!
Very, very nice, I loved seeing your students work.
