Sue
My folk-art imagery reflects my multi-cultural background and my fascination with folkart from around the world. Inspiration comes from memories collected during my African childhood with its animals and grasslands, a sojourn in the green South of England and time spent in Connecticut, Tennessee, Utah and Ohio.

Barcelona - The Contrast of Art
We have walked many miles of this city and have found the art fascinating. Each street corner varies from Graffiti to modern and old. All combined together to make this city so eye appealing. Here are a few pictures I captured on my travels.

ReplyDeleteLovely and inspiring pictures! Still on of the cities I want to visit one day!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy (as you are already doing)
Oh yes! There are so many design possibilities. I can see so many of them in wool already.
ReplyDeleteAncient cities - so much depth of design. A strange vibrance with all the juxtaposition. Paris is that way. And York. - and so many others. Funny, though - if you live there, you stop looking. Just business as usual. Loved the last shot best.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the beautiful photos. What a wonderful place to visit!! The tile work is very interesting.
